Every choice in our business is intentional: for your health, for our community, and for the planet we’re leaving to future generations.

This is food with purpose, and a brand built on integrity.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

We are committed to reducing our impact, minimizing waste, and building a food system that aligns with our values of care, quality, and responsibility—without compromising convenience or flavor.

6 Sustainability Initiatives

1. CONSCIOUS INGREDIENT SOURCING

We partner with suppliers and farms who share our standards for:

  • Clean, whole ingredients
  • Responsible + ethical sourcing practices
  • Minimal processing
  • High quality cultivation

We focus on real food because sustainability starts with what we choose to produce, buy, and eat.

2. SMALL-BATCH PRODUCTION

We prepare our meals in small batches to reduce:

  • Food waste
  • Overproduction
  • Excess ingredient storage
  • Transportation emissions

We don’t bulk-freeze food for months or mass-produce meals in factories. Fresh food is intentional food.

3. WASTE-REDUCTION INITIATIVES

Inside our kitchen we prioritize:

  • Composting where possible
  • Efficient ingredient planning
  • Batch cooking that conserves energy
  • Local sourcing to reduce transportation impact

We cook with respect for the ingredients we use and the people they feed.

4. ECO-CONSCIOUS PACKAGING

We use packaging that protects your meals and the environment. Our approach includes recyclable, compostable, low-waste solutions designed to reduce our footprint every step of the way.

Our Meal Containers (PET)

Our meal containers are made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate) — one of the most sustainable and circular packaging materials available.

  • Recyclable and accepted by most curbside programs
  • Near-infinitely recyclable and remade into new products
  • Up to 90% fewer CO₂ emissions compared to virgin plastic
  • Reduced landfill waste and reduced petroleum use

By choosing PET, we’re choosing packaging that keeps your meals safe and supports a circular, low-impact future.

Our Shipping Boxes + Liners

We ship using packaging that is recyclable and low-waste:

  • Recyclable corrugated boxes
  • Minimal dyes and inks
  • Reusable or recyclable insulation where possible

We are continually evolving our systems to reduce materials and increase circularity.

Our Ice Packs (Nordic® Eco Paper Gel Packs)

We’re switching to the world’s first zero-waste gel pack — designed to perform while protecting the planet.

  • 100% compostable gel (ASTM 6400 certified)
  • Paper exterior that is curbside recyclable
  • Up to 50% fewer CO₂ emissions during manufacturing

How to Dispose

  1. Cut the top of the pack.
  2. Compost or trash the gel.
  3. Recycle the paper exterior curbside.

Sustainability shouldn’t be complicated — so we made it simple.

Our Goal

We are committed to increasing waste-free, reusable, and low-impact solutions across every product line as we grow.

5. SMART SHIPPING PRACTICES

Your food is shipped in a way that honors freshness and the environment:

  • Consolidated shipments to reduce emissions
  • Optimized cold-chain packaging
  • Low-waste ice packs and liners
  • Efficient distribution schedules

We are always optimizing our shipping model for less waste and more efficiency.

6. LOCAL PRODUCTION + COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Our kitchen and operations support the local community by:

  • Partnering with regional suppliers
  • Supporting local farmers and producers
  • Employing local staff
  • Keeping production close to home rather than outsourcing

Sustainability also means investing into the community that feeds us.

Our Promise

As we grow, so does our commitment. We will continue exploring:

  • New eco-friendly materials
  • Carbon-reduction initiatives
  • More recyclable and compostable solutions
  • Better distribution and reduced waste

Wellness isn’t a destination; it’s a practice.

A Sustainable World Starts in the Kitchen

We believe that better meals create better lives—and better systems. Your food should feel good, taste good, and do good.

Thank you for choosing a brand that cares where your food comes from and where it goes.

Together, we’re helping build a healthier future.
